The Illawarra College of Professional Beauty Therapy was founded in 1981 by the College Principal, Tracey Rovere. Tracey is a qualified Beauty Therapist, and holds a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training qualification.

In addition to owning and operating the Illawarra College of Professional Beauty Therapy, Tracey has continued to practice as a beauty therapist. She has extensive knowledge of skin physiology and is currently involved in skincare product research and development. From this product research and development the L’amour Skin Sense range of products has been produced. These products are currently used in many beauty salons and are utilised by the students during training at the college.
