Melbourne Private Schools introduces Holy Spirit Primary School Kurri Kurri in Kurri Kurri, for all your education and learning needs.
The township of Kurri Kurri was established in 1905. In 1908 Catholic Schools were established at both Kurri and Abermain. For the first few years, Sisters came from Cessnock by horse and buggy or coach. The first nuns to teach at Kurri were Sisters Vincent, Sebastian and Benigus. A new convent was blessed and opened on Sunday 9th May 1909 to house the Kurri and Abermain teachers.
Holy Spirit Primary School is located in the Hunter Valley town of Kurri Kurri. It is a Year 3 to 6 primary school specialising in the education of children aged between 7 and 13 years.
Welcome to Holy Spirit Primary School Kurri Kurri one of the popular educators in your Kurri Kurri area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
