Situated in a rural setting in the picturesque Northern Tablelands area of NSW the school has attractive grounds, modern classrooms, laboratories. and technology rooms. It also has exceptional art and photography facilities, a music room and library. An historic building has been renovated by the community and the Department of Education and Training (DET). The school has a Multi-Purpose Unit (MPU) which is used for a wide variety of school and community uses. There are two agriculture plots, a main teaching plot with stud Murray Grey heifers and a flock of 'Nemesis' sheep. A smaller plot is opposite the main building and is used for teaching purposes.
