Literacy and numeracy skills are the focus in Years 1-3 through an uninterrupted two hour morning session. Students, during the day, have the opportunity to engage in other curriculum areas where they begin to explore the world past and present.

The staff of Corinda State School is extremely dedicated. They are in one mind advocating on behalf of the students in order to provide the best opportunities for each child to learn and achieve to the best of their ability. The school has a broad diversity of clientele. The facilities are well maintained and include a new Performing Arts Centre, three Preparatory Classrooms, a resource centre, ESL centre, Learning Support centre, an air-conditioned computer laboratory, classroom blocks and an extensive oval with playgrounds.
