Melbourne Private Schools introduces St Thomas More College in Crawley, for all your education and learning needs.

Tommy More has been going through a major new build for the past 2 years and will be opening its doors to all its residents on 19th February 2016. The new build will see Tommy More go from 155 Standard Rooms to accommodate 400 residents with the addition of 200 Studio Apartments and 45 One Bedroom Apartments.

These apartments will be light and breezy with their own kitchenette, ensuite bathroom, cooktop, microwave and fridge. It will be the perfect setting to come home to after a solid day at university. There will also be shared laundry and office service facilities, academic learning centres and
recreation centres.

The two new buildings are under the NRAS program (National Rental Affordability Scheme). The building nearest to Mounts Bay Road will house the College Administration on the ground floor, 37 One Bedroom Apartments on the 4 floors above and a Resident Advisor’s apartment.

The second building is the larger of the two. It houses the Studio Apartments and is located in the middle of the College. The building wraps around a central piazza with large communal gathering areas both indoor and out. The southern wing is 5 stories high, and the central and northern wings
are 3 stories high allowing for more winter sun into the piazza. Each floor has a communal area and a Resident Advisor’s apartment.

There is also basement parking (subject to availability), a music room, lock-up bike storage facility and free use of surf skis for a paddle on the river. 

Every resident at Tommy More no matter what type of room they occupy will have access to all the new facilities available at the College.

The new upgraded Dining Hall will serve an amazing array of cuisines and will cater to everyone’s taste buds. This along with the outdoor alfresco area will be a lively hub for residents to come together over a delicious meal to interact and form lasting friendships.
