Tara Anglican School for Girls is a school with significant history and traditions dating from its earliest days in Parramatta in 1897. Our school has grown from humble beginnings and we now enjoy wonderful and extensive facilities in beautiful grounds in North Parramatta. We have classes catering for girls in Early Learning to Year 12.

Tara strives for academic excellence and every girl is encouraged and supported to achieve her best. We are very proud of the excellent results the students gain in the HSC and that so many students make the choice to continue their studies at the tertiary level.

Our aim is to challenge and inspire our students and for them to become articulate and responsible young women who have an outward focus. We want them to be resilient, good humoured and to stand strong in themselves. We want them to feel that they can make a difference in whatever they choose to pursue after Tara.
