Melbourne Private Schools introduces Gingin District High School in Gingin, for all your education and learning for your childs future, We invite you to explore and learn more about the quality 21st Century education with Gingin District High School.
Gingin District High School takes pride in our Kindergarten to Year 12 programs, nurturing our students throughout their school life. There are currently about 440 students enrolled at the school, including approximately 140 secondary students. Our vision is for an inclusive school where every child is able to reach their potential in a collaborative and productive environment.
Our school was established as a District High School in 1964, although the history of education in the Gingin area is much older than that. We enrol students from a wide geographical area. The catchment area includes the localities of Lancelin, Regan's Ford, Bindoon, Muchea and Guilderton. Many children arrive at school after a long bus ride, so our school Breakfast Program is a program for all students, even if they have already had breakfast before they left home.
School buses are well maintained and supervised. Bus drivers provide regular information and communication to parents and the school. Your family may be eligible for transport assistance for travel to and from your school bus stop.
The school has a very supportive community, including support from local businesses and the Shire Council.
Welcome to Gingin District High School one of the popular educators in your Gingin area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
