Eugowra Public School serves the town of Eugowra (population 600) and surrounding district and has an enrolment of 29 students. Its Mission Statement is "Participation Leads to Success" and all policies and practices of the school are based upon having each student attain excellence. At the end of Primary schooling students have the option of travelling to Forbes or Canowindra secondary schools as bus travel is available to both centres. Through its teaching and learning programmes the school fosters academic, cultural and sporting achievement and seeks support for its students from the wider community. Through specially developed programmes it is expected that students who leave Year 6 are ready to commence High School. Academically needy students are provided with support each year and their progress is monitored regularly. The school employs a teachers aid and an annual allocation of support time is provided to assist students experiencing difficulties.
