Mt Torrens Primary School is a small rural school catering for students from Reception (fifth birthday intake) to Year 7. The school prides itself on its high level of community support and on its musical focus. The school is the only Government school in the State to provide tuition in the old English art of Bell Ringing. Numeracy, Literacy and the use of computer technologies are strongly encouraged at all year levels. Our teacher / student ratios are extremely low (averaging 1:20 ) so we are able to concentrate upon individuals. The school climate is warm and welcoming, students are encouraged to view the school as a 'big family' providing care and respect for each other and selves.
