Caulfield Park Community School is a small government secondary school - an "alternative school" providing an affirming and supportive environment for students who would rather not be part of a larger school environment or for students who have found traditional secondary schools have not been able to meet their needs.

We are small because that is how we like it. Small enough so our students, their families and teachers know each other well; Small enough so students feel supported by teachers; and small enough so students and teachers can work together, not against each other.

Students don't wear uniform, teachers are called by their first name and our rules are developed with students and are designed to support their learning and development.

We are a caring school; staff and students are concerned for each other and support each other when needed. It is a school that values individuals as well as the group and encourages students to develop their strengths.
